This camera is a HD video camera that will capture the footage for our short perfectly, it has the mic attached to capture sound to, and many settings that can aid the capturing of our footage. We will then need to add this onto a tripod so we can adjust the height we want the camera, and also ensure there is no shaky cam from handheld camerawork. This is the Tripod we will be using to stand the camera on.
This tripod will allow us to hold the camera in a steady position, we can adjust the height of the legs, and make the top part higher by extending it using the wheel. You can also use the handle to adjust the angle, or pan the camera.
We are going to do the camerawork as a group, so we can get 4 different opinions on how the angles look and whether it fits the shot. This is much better than allocating one person as other people can be standing around doing nothing when they could be helping get the shot as perfect as possible.
Adam is going to be responsible for prop collection and distribution as we assigned him this role at the start of the planning of this film, and he drew up the prop list himself. Luke is going to be monitoring costume and ensure that all of the cast are wearing the appopriate costume for the scene, and also ensure that their clothing doesnt change between days of filming.
Me and Grant are going to be responsible for continuty, ensuring everything looks the same when filming different shots on different days, and that nothing changes between shots. We will watch each clip multiple times to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Our next step is to actually go film our footage.
